Consultation

$100 for 1hr in-person session

Do you answer yes to any of these questions?

  • Do you feel overwhelmed with your dog’s behavior?

  • Does your dog ignore basic commands?

  • Do you want walks to be more enjoyable?

  • Has your dog shown aggression or fear towards other animals?

  • Does your dog resource guard against food or specific people?

  • Are you embarrassed by your dog’s excessive barking or jumping on guests?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, our 1 hour consultation may be the perfect option to decide which training plan is best for you and your dog!

These low-key, question-and-answer sessions give us a chance to talk about your dog’s history, your goals for their behavior, and what we can do to help. This also provides me the opportunity to assess your dog while outlining strategies to help you overcome specific problems.

Plus, the best part is: you’ll always walk away with more knowledge than what you came with!

Meet Danielle, Lexington’s Expert Dog Trainer
in obedience and reactive dogs

I’m passionate about training dogs, but I’m even more passionate about teaching the other end of the leash (that means you!) to read and communicate with your dog. I firmly believe the human-dog relationship is a partnership, and more often than not, that partnership experiences a communication breakdown.

My deepest wish  is to help both you and your dog by using all the tools in my toolbox. If you’re committed to helping your dog and willing to put in the time and effort, change your old habits, and ready to learn your dog’s culture, I will be right there with you as your coach and your cheerleader every step of the way!

How can we help you?

Common FAQs

  • Our services are highly personalized, with private lessons and special training sessions to work with specific issues such as leash walking, reactivity, obedience foundations, etc. Also, not all trainers will work with reactive or aggressive dogs, but I want to give the best chance to every dog!

  • Rather than train in a facility with limited distractions, I believe dog training is most successful when in natural, everyday environments. That’s why I prefer to train in real life locations around Lexington & Midway including local parks such as Shilito Park, Masterson Station Park, Jacobson Park, the Summit, and more!

  • As I’m sure you’ve heard before, quality is more important than quantity. Consistency is key as it will define clear boundaries for your dog! That said, you’ll get as much as you put into training. Everyone’s experience and results will look a little different depending on the time and consistency you provide when training your dog.
